Colin Chalker

Colin has over thirty years’ experience advising clients on pension and investment planning as well as protection for the individual and family. His particular interest is in assisting clients to plan for their retirement and helping them along the journey to an enjoyable retirement with the aim of removing the worry over running out of money as the years go by. His aim is to help clients realise retirement planning is not solely down to the financial aspects but a continuing work in progress to achieve their objectives and ambitions. His primary concern is that clients are not daunted by the prospect of retirement, allaying any fears to embrace it as the next stage of their lives.

Away from the office Colin enjoys watching sport, especially his son playing rugby for the local club, walking and is an avid reader.

Tom Ralph

Tom is a Financial Planner with broad experience across the financial planning profession. Before moving into his current role, Tom developed a strong technical grounding as a paraplanner, supporting advisers in both large organisations and smaller, client-focused firms. He holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is working towards achieving Chartered status, demonstrating his commitment to high standards and ongoing professional development.

Tom’s planning style is centred on the bigger picture. He has a particular interest in cashflow planning and uses it to help clients understand how their financial decisions interact over time—balancing goals, priorities, and potential risks. Rather than focusing solely on products, Tom places emphasis on building practical, coherent strategies that support lifestyle objectives, financial resilience, and long-term confidence.

He works closely with clients to clarify what matters most, translate complex issues into clear actions, and implement recommendations in a structured and transparent way.

Over the years, Tom has built strong working relationships with a wide range of providers, enabling effective collaboration and smoother implementation of client plans.

Outside of the office, Tom enjoys travelling and playing football. He also helps run a small charity supporting children in Ghana and Malawi.

Jackie Searle

Jackie brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services, together with a friendly, reassuring approach that helps clients feel at ease from the outset. As a Financial Adviser, she is passionate about giving clear, tailored advice that supports people in making confident decisions about their future.

She has extensive experience across investments, pensions, protection and retirement planning, and is known for taking the time to really understand each client’s needs. Jackie believes good advice should feel personal, practical and easy to follow, and she is valued for her attention to detail, clear communication and steady, supportive manner.

Over the years, Jackie has built lasting relationships with clients based on trust, transparency and genuine care. Her experience allows her to guide people through different stages of life with confidence, helping them stay focused on what matters most to them and their families.

Outside the office, Jackie enjoys travelling, getting away on holiday and keeping active at the gym. At home, she keeps chickens and goats, so life away from work is just as busy, energetic and full of character.

Mark Ralph

Mark has been providing financial advice through long lasting client relationships for over 40 years, but still remains passionate about helping those clients to achieve clarity and understanding over their financial futures.

Having previously run his own financial planning business, Mark is now looking forward to being able to fully focus his attention on working with clients and their families on their continuing financial journeys.

An ever expanding family provides plenty of distraction outside work, but when the opportunity arises, touring Europe in the motorhome with his wife Diane, or motorbike adventure trips provide a welcome escape.
